Microsoft Teams Integration

📋Overview

GoWeBa integrates with Microsoft Teams via the Microsoft Graph API to create Teams meetings directly from the GoWeBa event form. When you schedule an event, GoWeBa generates a Teams meeting link and attaches it to your event.

This integration is user-managed: each team member connects their own Microsoft account. GoWeBa uses OAuth 2.0 with Azure AD and only requests the minimum permissions needed.

🔐Permissions & Scopes

ScopeDescription
OnlineMeetings.ReadWriteAllows GoWeBa to create Microsoft Teams meetings on your behalf when you schedule an event.
User.ReadAllows GoWeBa to identify your Microsoft account and display connection status.

🛡️Data Handling & Privacy

  • GoWeBa stores only the OAuth tokens needed to create Teams meetings. Tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
  • GoWeBa does not access your Teams messages, channels, files, or any other Microsoft 365 data beyond what is needed for meeting creation.
  • When you disconnect your Microsoft account, all stored tokens are permanently deleted.
  • GoWeBa does not sell, share, or transfer your Microsoft data to any third party.

🔗How to Connect

  1. Step 1: Go to the Calendar section in GoWeBa.
  2. Step 2: Click on the "Video Conferencing" tab.
  3. Step 3: Click "Connect" next to Microsoft Teams.
  4. Step 4: You will be redirected to Microsoft to sign in and authorize GoWeBa.
  5. Step 5: Grant the requested permissions and you will be redirected back to GoWeBa.
  6. Step 6: Your Microsoft account is now connected. You can create Teams meetings from the event form.

🔓How to Disconnect

  1. Go to the Calendar section in GoWeBa.
  2. Click on the "Video Conferencing" tab.
  3. Click "Disconnect" next to your connected Microsoft account.
  4. Your Microsoft tokens are permanently deleted.
  5. You can also revoke access from your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com.

📦Requirements

  • A Microsoft 365 account with Teams enabled.
  • A GoWeBa account with calendar access.
  • Organization admin or member permissions in GoWeBa.
