📋Overview

GoWeBa integrates with Google Meet via Google Calendar to create video meetings directly from the GoWeBa event form. When you schedule an event, GoWeBa creates a Google Calendar event with an attached Google Meet link.

This integration is user-managed: each team member connects their own Google account. GoWeBa uses OAuth 2.0 and only requests the minimum scopes needed to create calendar events with Meet links.

🔐Permissions & Scopes

🛡️Data Handling & Privacy

  • GoWeBa stores only the OAuth tokens needed to create calendar events with Meet links. Tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
  • GoWeBa does not access, read, or modify your existing Google Calendar events. It only creates new events when you explicitly request a Meet link.
  • When you disconnect your Google account, all stored tokens are permanently deleted.
  • GoWeBa does not sell, share, or transfer your Google data to any third party.

🔗How to Connect

  1. Step 1: Go to the Calendar section in GoWeBa.
  2. Step 2: Click on the "Video Conferencing" tab.
  3. Step 3: Click "Connect" next to Google Meet.
  4. Step 4: You will be redirected to Google to authorize GoWeBa.
  5. Step 5: Grant the requested permissions and you will be redirected back to GoWeBa.
  6. Step 6: Your Google account is now connected. You can create Meet links from the event form.

🔓How to Disconnect

  1. Go to the Calendar section in GoWeBa.
  2. Click on the "Video Conferencing" tab.
  3. Click "Disconnect" next to your connected Google account.
  4. Your Google tokens are permanently deleted.
  5. You can also revoke access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

📦Requirements

  • A Google account (Workspace or personal Gmail).
  • A GoWeBa account with calendar access.
  • Organization admin or member permissions in GoWeBa.
